POinte tremble kitchen + main floor

The homeowners knew they had a big job when they purchased this fixer upper on the water but was excited to make the inside as gorgeous as the jaw dropping view of the water on the outside. We gave this waterfront cottage a contemporary twist with details throughout that functions for a family that loves to entertain!

After gutting the entire first floor and removing all walls, the homeowners had us help come up with a functional, open floorplan that allowed for sight lines to the water views throughout the first floor. After several iterations of the floorplan, we were able to maximize kitchen storage and create a space set up for entertaining including a huge island, built-in bench eat-in area, coffee station, and a wet bar. We added a wall back in to create a dedicated office and provide more wall space to increase storage and functionality in the kitchen.

The gorgeous white quartz with dramatic navy and gold veining is the statement piece in the kitchen, only secondary to the view. Bright and white cabinets and a navy island with brushed brass accents maintains the cottage feel but brings a contemporary twist into the space. We were also able to incorporate beautiful glass paneled French doors that were original to the home as entry to the new office.
